The idea of serving is nothing new. Many of us give our time to civic opportunities throughout the community – organizations like Relay For Life, The Red Cross, Habitat For Humanity, little league coaching, and more. There’s just something inside of us that knows it’s good to give back. But did you know you can volunteer at Crossroads too?
If joining a group is where you start feeling connected, signing up for a strategic service team is often the catalyst to feeling like an insider, or a real part of Crossroads. And it makes sense. The all-star volunteers at Crossroads are literally the lifeblood of everything that happens here, and Sunday can’t happen without them. The first 6 years of our church, volunteers helped set-up and tear-down our portable home each week. And now at our new facility at 10 Huntington Rd it takes hundreds serving each week to create the kind of environments we’re determined to for unchurched families in this city.
Volunteers lead small groups from toddlers to teenagers, greet guests at the door, produce video in the auditorium, and more! There’s literally a spot for everyone, no matter what your skill or passion. It’s rewarding to see your service produce life change in others, but it’s also just fun!
