GroupLink is a 60-minute event where you come to connect with people in your same stage of life and area of town to form a community group. Community groups are small groups of six married couples or eight individuals of the same gender that meet weekly in a group member’s home for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. They are for adults of all ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity.
During GroupLink, we will be forming new couples community groups for young married couples with no kids, couples with preschoolers, couples with elementary age kids, couples with teenagers, empty-nesters, and seniors. We will also be starting new groups for individual women, men, and college-age adults.
Munch and Mingle
A light lunch will be provided for everyone attending GroupLink. If you are bringing your children, they can eat with you. After lunch we ask that children go to the childcare provided.
Group Formation
During the Group Formation, you will get better acquainted with the new people you’ve met and begin to form a group. Look for your name at the place settings on the tables.
Ice Breaker
For the first 15 minutes you are invited to play an entertaining ice breaker that will help you get to know the other members of your group in a fun and nonthreatening way.
Vision Cast
During the Vision Cast segment, you will learn a little about what to expect from a community group experience. You’ll watch a video that takes a humorous look at what a community group is and what it isn’t.
Group Launch
To wrap up the evening, each group will sit back, relax, and get to know each other a little bit better and plan your first social event.
