Programs
Crossroads Cultural Connections builds programming with the objective of bringing our surrounding communities together. Presently, we have two main programs: the Sunday Getaway Concert Series and the Visiting Artist Series. Our goal is to expand programming as support for our organization grows.
Sunday Getaway
Concert Series
The Sunday Getaway Concert Series is our commitment to provide live music year-round. Almost every Sunday of the year, we are hosting a concert somewhere in Henry County. Currently these concerts (except for the Levitt AMP Galva Music Series) are by donation, but our goal is to make them free for all in the future. These events are all-ages and suited for the entire family!
Visiting Artist Series
The Visiting Artist Series engages our area’s youth by facilitating events where musicians visit local schools. Through this program these artists lead workshops, activities, and all-school assemblies where students have the opportunity to learn about songwriting, instrumentation, and various career paths within the music industry. When possible, we include a public performance with the artist so students, parents, and faculty can all share in the experience.
